Description:
Kitchen/Family Room/Stair remodel.
Vision:
Integrate the main house’s modern architectural spirit into a complementary staircase and kitchen/family room.
Planning:
The kitchen was entirely opened to the family room and much of the house. The exterior ribbon-window was expanded. Cabinetry was designed low at the perimeter of the space and a custom island table developed as a natural focal element.
Design:
The wood/steel components of the railings and cabinetry were designed and built as fine custom modern furniture.
